The 2025 Versailles Pumpkin Show will take place on the Ripley County Courthouse Square, just outside our office! The Pumpkin Show is one of the longest running shows in the state. The 2025 event kicks off on Wednesday, September 24th.
Pumpkin Show Ride Information
Jessop Amusements is back with rides. Pre-sale wristbands are available for $20, including the activation fee. These allow users to ride from 6-10 p.m. the night they are redeemed. You can also buy advance sale ride tickets and wristbands on the Jessop Amusements website.
Tickets can be purchased at four kiosks during the event. You can buy single night wrist bands or digital credits at the kiosks, which accept cash, credit cards, Google Pay, and Apple Pay.
2025 Pumpkin Show Events
Lions Club Home Arts & Craft Show: See the entries each night from 5-9 p.m. and on Saturday after the parade until 3:30 p.m. inside the Lions Clubhouse. The Lions Club will also have pumpkins for sale throughout the event.
Tri Kappa Art Show: This event will take place in the Courthouse. Enter through the Main Street doors.
The Pumpkin Show kicks off with opening ceremonies at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, September 24th, followed by music by Faith Lafary, the King & Queen Contest, and music by Rusty Bladen Band.
Thursday brings the Main Street Versailles baking contest winner announcements along with music by Harley Day, the Prince & Princess Contest, Pie Eating Contest, and music by Marisa Fullenkamp.
Friday is retro night: dress in an outfit from your favorite decade. The evening kicks off with music by Mr. T.’s Mohawk at 5:30 p.m. followed by music by Sunday Drive.
Enjoy music by Jake Gaither starting at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday before the parade kicks off at 10:30 a.m. The giant pumpkins will be weighed and awarded at 12:15 p.m. followed by the Battle on the Border Pro Wrestling event, music by Jordan Dermody & Dermody Lane, and music by South of Mason.
